STATE OF THE ROCKIES
The 2007 State of the Rockies Conference (April 9-11, 2007)

The fourth annual State of the Rockies Conference, beginning with the introduction of the 2007 State of the Rockies Report Card, was held on the Colorado College campus April 9- 11, 2007. The subjects covered in the 2007 State of the Rockies report card were:
- Water Rights; guest speaker Kay Brothers, deputy general manager for the South Nevada Water Authority
- Forest Health; guest speaker James Hubbard, U.S. Forest Service deputy chief for state and private forestry
- New Communities/New Urbanism; guest speaker Peter Calthorpe, urban planner and architect and co-author of “Sustainable Communities”
