Turner Flying D Ranch and Turner Endangered Species Fund 7/19/05

Mike Phillips and Carter Kruse of the Turner Endangered Species Fund introduced us to Turner’s recent conservation initiatives. Mark Cassler, ranch manager of Ted Turner’s Flying D Ranch near Bozeman MT., explained the challenges of maintaining a successful large ranch operation. In particular he outlined the differences between a typical western cattle ranch and Turner’s native bison ranch.
