Hi, my name is Chris Vernon and I am from Lake Bluff, Illinois about 30 miles north of Chicago. I am a senior here at CC and I am earning a degree in Economics. I like to stay involved on campus and currently I am President of the Sigma Chi Fraternity and the Carnivore Club, a student organization on campus specializing in, well, meat. Among other things I am a new student orientation leader, play on the club hockey team, and love having fun. I am looking forward to this experience because it combines two of my passions: service and traveling. I also feel our trip can improve the lives of people in India as well as enrich the CC community with a sense of service.
