The Capstone Service Experience is a program designed for 2nd semester juniors or 1st semester seniors who have shown a dedication and passion for service to others. Accepted students will design and implement a service project based in the local community. The project acts to unify the student’s interests and service experiences while preparing them for a life of service after graduation. What sort of project can I do?
Students are encouraged to create a project which fits their interests, whether this entails working on their own or directly with a community partner. The project must be focused on the local community (not campus), be sustainable, and provide tangible benefits. As long as these few criteria are met the only limit is your imagination.
