These are exciting times throughout our department. One of the changes we have made includes a permanent change of name from Security to Campus Safety. It reflects our commitment to safety for the entire Colorado College campus community.
We are on duty 24/7 and have officers on foot patrol, bike patrol, dispatch, cart patrol, as well as the use of a Campus Safety SUV and Safe Ride van. We work in close cooperation with the Colorado Springs Police Department, Fire Department, and emergency personnel which compliment our team of professionals on each shift.
Our goal is to provide a variety of helpful services throughout campus and within the community, while emphasizing the importance of a safe environment.
We welcome the opportunity to assist you in finding answers to safety and security questions you may have, or perhaps a moment to meet you and share ideas along with common goals.
Please feel free to reach us at (719) 389-6707 or stop by our corner office area in the Edith Gaylord Apartment building; allow me to introduce you to our team of professionals.
Sincerely, Ron Smith
Director/Chief of Campus Safety
