Gold Card / Gold Card Plus Account Faculty and Staff
Colorado College is pleased to offer our campus community the ease and confidentiality
of a "one-card" system. Not simply an ID, the Colorado College Gold Card is
the key to many campus services including: photo identification, improved
security, controlled residence hall access, cash less transactions, library
access, sports/activities passes, as well as many vending services such as
copiers and laundries.
Cardholders are responsible for immediately reporting a lost or stolen card.
After business hours or on the weekends, reports should be made to Campus
Security. During business hours, walk-in or call the Gold Card Office. All
services are deactivated once the card has been reported lost/stolen to prevent
possible misuse by another party.
Cards are also available to a spouse and/or dependents of Colorado College
faculty and staff, giving them the same privileges and access. This includes
Tutt Library, the El Pomar Sports Center which houses the Schlessman swimming
pool, Honnen Ice Rink, and Carle weight room. Tickets to Colorado College
events are often free (or steeply discounted) with a CC ID. Meals purchased
through the Gold Card Office for use at Rastall are much cheaper than paying
at the door. Money deposited on the Gold Card Plus Account is available for
use at all campus locations.
Voluntary payroll deductions can be requested through the Payroll Office.
Upon written authorization, the Payroll Office will make deductions including
but not limited to purchasing a meal plan and deposits to your Gold Card Plus
Account. Staff and faculty may also fund their Gold Card Plus Account by using
their Visa or Mastercard either in person or online.
You may purchase
a meal plan (the Lunch Club plan) - 15 meals for $50 ($3.33 each) by coming to the Gold Card Office
or you may set-up an automatic payroll deduction. Meals can only be used in
The Rastall dining facility, but may be used for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and brunch on weekends.
For your convenience, you may also use our online deposit form to purchase Lunch Clubs; simply include your name and ID number as usual, but type "LUNCH CLUB" into the third Ship-To field. Meals purchased this way may not be available immediately, and will only be processed if an available balance of $50 exists on your Gold Card Plus Account.
