Academic Leaves of Absence

Students planning to study abroad or off-campus in the U.S. on ACM programs (Chicago Arts, Business, Entrepreneurship, and Society, Newberry Seminar in the Humanities, and Urban Studies), as well as the Washington Semester and the Woods Hole Marine Biological Laboratory Semester in Science, should follow the procedures and deadlines outlined under “Why We’re Here: Academic Policies and Procedures: Study Abroad and Off-Campus Study”. If unusual circumstances warrant attendance at another college or university in the U.S., you must contact the associate dean of the college. Credit will not be accepted unless prior approval has been received from the dean in consultation with the registrar’s office.
