![]() The Children’s CenterThe Colorado College Children’s Center is committed to providing an on-site, high-quality early care and education program for the children of the CC campus and the local community. A professional and experienced staff creates a warm, loving, developmentally appropriate program for children ages six weeks to six years. The Center is committed to serving each child’s unique social, emotional, cognitive, and physical needs. The Children’s Center practices a philosophy of emergent curriculum, based on the interests of the children along with the teachers’ combined experience and training in Early Childhood Education. The curriculum encourages hands-on learning and investigation through a wide variety of experiences, and individual responsibility. Funquest, a summer day camp for children ages 6 through 12, is offered during nine weeks of the summer. The number for more information about Funquest is 389-7217.
