COLORADO COLLEGE PUBLIC INTEREST FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM

MENTORING AND TRAINING PROGRAM

mentor-mentee

Fellow Angela Mendiola '06 with her mentor and PIFP board member Kari Kwinn '03. During the 2006-07 year, Angela was a fellow with The Rocky Mountain Community Land Trust and was hired as a full time employee at the end of her fellowship.

“I’m involved in the program on a number of levels. I know a mentor would have been helpful to me my first year out of college, so I want to provide this service to someone.”

Alan Gottlieb ‘79, PIFP Mentor

PIFP Fellows are paired with experienced alumni mentors, who provide guidance and counsel to Fellows throughout the term of their fellowships. In addition, PIFP and its mentors sponsor several training opportunities each year for Fellows. These events are part of our commitment to our host organizations, to ensure that their Fellows get a strong foundation as they begin their tenure in the nonprofit sector.
