For the last ten years I’ve worked as a political consultant, managing, among other races, the 2002 re-election campaign for Congresswoman DeGette; the Mayoral campaign for John Hickenlooper; and Wellington Webb’s campaign for Chair of the DNC. I also served as the Executive Director of the Colorado Democratic Party.
I spent two years working at the National Civic League, the oldest good government nonprofit in the country, researching and writing on campaign finance reform and civic journalism.
Why have you chosen to work in or support the nonprofit sector?
Society works best when interaction, cooperation, and partnerships between the public, private, and nonprofit sectors are maximized. My work in politics has only strengthened my commitment to the nonprofit sector in its importance to maintaining healthy communities.

During my career I have been helped and guided along the way by a number of outstanding individuals. I hope that I can be helpful in the same way for those taking their next steps in their professional careers.
