Why have you chosen to work in or support the nonprofit sector?
Because I care more about social issues and trying to make change happen than I do about making a ton of money.
Why do you want to be a mentor for PIFP?
I’m involved in the program on a number of levels. I know a mentor would have been helpful to me my first year out of college, so I want to provide this service to someone.
What’s your favorite book or movie?
I don’t know about favorites. Recent great books – Atonement by Ian Mcewan, Absurdistan by Gary…. Older books: The Sound and the Fury, War and Peace, The Sun Also Rises.
What is something most people would be surprised to know about you?
That I’d ditch all this and write fiction full time from a Greek Island if I could pay the bills.
