Colorado College’s Public Interest Fellowship Program (PIFP) is an alumni-supported and alumni-driven program. The Advisory Board is comprised of Colorado College alumns who have experience in the nonprofit sector (more than 150 years, collectively!), as well as representatives from the faculty and from key campus departments, such as the Alumni, Career Center, Development offices.
Each year, the Advisory Board meets to:
* Select host organizations
* Screen Fellow candidates prior to their interviews with host organizations
* Support Fellows in training opportunities
* Participate in an annual board meeting
PIFP is affiliated with The Alumni Network, a group of colleges and universities that have similar alumni-supported programs in the public service sector. The network includes Bucknell, Dartmouth, Franklin & Marshall, Georgetown, Harvard, Princeton, Stanford and Yale.
