COLORADO COLLEGE PUBLIC INTEREST FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM

Britt LandisBritt Landis ‘11
National Conference of State Legislatures
Education Program
Summer Fellow

Why did you want to become a PIFP Fellow?

The PIFP program is ideal because I get to learn more about and an issue I care about it while getting paid!

Please give a brief description of your job/role in your host organization:

Primarily, I work with higher education policy, tracking legislation, researching policy and programs, and attending conferences.

What’s the most interesting thing you’ve learned about your host organization so far?

State legislators can and do benefit from NCSL’s publications, conferences, and assistance to inform their decisions about policy and practices that can affect the peoples in their states greatly.

What activities do you enjoy?

I like to play outside with friends, sing for fun, and this summer watch “So You Think You Can Dance” (and pretend I can dance too).
