Why did you want to become a PIFP Fellow?

I’m interested in becoming a permanent part of the nonprofit sector. All of the PIFP host organizations do very important work.

Please give a brief description of your job/role in your host organization:

• Compiling the Legislative Scorecard
• Maintaining/checking website for accuracy
• Writing newsletter articles
• Writing lesson plans about civil rights for fifth graders
• Flyering for ACLU events
• Soliciting contributions (in person and on the phone)
• Setting up for events

What’s the most interesting thing you’ve learned about your host organization so far?

The ACLU defended Rush Limbaugh when he was on trial for doctor shopping.
