Plan ahead for New Student Orientation August 23-25, 2008
The Democratic National Convention will be held in Denver August 25-29,
2008. We expect this to impact flight and room availability in Colorado
Springs during New Student Orientation. Be sure to plan your visit to
campus as early as possible.
Lodging options
Parents Schedule for New Student Orientation:
August 23, Saturday: Residence Halls open for Move-in
August 25, Monday: Parents depart after noon farewell
picnic
There are planned activities for parents on Saturday and Sunday. Saturday
evening is open for parents and students to make their own dining and
entertaining arrangements.

• The deadline for housing deposits for first year students will
be June 29, 2008. For returning students, the deadline will be March 2,
2009. Winter starts will have a November 16, 2008 deadline.
