Meal Plans

All students who reside in on-campus housing other than apartments are required to be on a regular meal plan to promote the social experiences surrounding dining together as part of the residential experience as well as due to the lack of adequate kitchen space to accommodate all of the residents living in a particular area. Students who live in the apartments, Synergy House, Interfaith House, and off campus housing may purchase a commuter meal plan. Students on the meal plan and who are gone from campus for a block or more may contact the Student Life Office in Armstrong Hall for information about meal plan rebates. For all other questions about the meal plan contact Dining Services in Ticknor Hall.

All students are encouraged to give feedback about their specific needs and the meal plan to the Bon Appétit staff. “Pack-out” meals or “to go” meals are available with advance notice for religious observances such as Ramadan or for groups of students going on weekend trips. On rare occasions, due to religious or medical conditions that cannot be accommodated through the meal plan, exemptions may be granted. Applications for this process must be completed by the end of the first block of each semester, so students who feel their situation may warrant this should contact dining services during the first week of class to learn about this process. All students will be billed and set up with meal plan C for fall semester. Students may change their meal plan ("one time") once they receive their invoice by going online to www.coloradocollege.edu/goldcard, click on Meal Plans. Select the meal plan of your choice, type in student name and ID # and send the email or you can contact the Student Accounts office to change your meal plan. No meal plan downgrades will be accepted after the second week of school. If you are interested in upgrading your meal plan after the second week of school, please contact Dining Services in Ticknor Hall. Students attending spring semester will be billed and set up with the meal plan they were on in the fall semester and may change their meal plan ("one time") by going online or contacting the Student Accounts office (same deadlines and rules apply for spring semester).
