The Sophomore Jump provides all sophomore students at Colorado College with opportunities to grow and develop personally, academically, and socially throughout their sophomore year. Please see below a list of events that might be of specific interest for sophomores.

 Sophomore Dinner Series - Block 7: Tuesday, April 1, 2014 (special time 6:30 p.m. start)

Ever wonder what made your professor decide to become a professor?  Curious about where your undergraduate degree will take you? Enjoy a meal with a faculty member and learn about his or her background and experiences.  RSVP is required. Email pspoelman@coloradocollege.edu. Watch for emails on the listserv.  Limited space is available for each Block.

Professor Steve Hayward (English)

Steve’s third book, a novel entitled Don’t Be Afraid was a Canadian National Bookseller, and in 2013 was translated into Dutch, appearing under the title Niets Meer Te Verliezen (“Nothing Left to Lose.”) He is at work on several projects, including a new novel set in Torino, Italy, an adventure book for kids, and the libretto commissioned by the composer Stephen Scott.  He is also the creator, co-host, and executive producer of the KRCC radio program “off Topic.”
