Visiting Students

Student on a geology field trip

You don't have to be a CC student to take a summer course with us!  We offer courses during three sessions, known as blocks, in a variety of disciplines in the humanities, social sciences, and natural sciences.  The foothills of Pikes Peak, the Rocky Mountains, and the American Southwest are our backyard and our classroom. Combine the flexibility of the Block Plan with the vast natural laboratory of the Rocky Mountain region and Southwest, and you have limitless opportunities for study!

Why choose Colorado College this Summer?

  • Tuition rates for study during the summer at Colorado College are lower than they are during the fall and spring sessions (a summer course is approximately one-half the tuition charged during the regular year)

  • Small class sizes with a range of between 5-20 students

  • A wide variety of offerings: from general chemistry, beginning fiction writing, and drawing on campus, to psychoanalysis in Chicago, and various courses around the world.

  • Our backyard is our classroom too: you can study the geology of the Pikes Peak region and the ecology of the Rocky Moutnains.

  • Classes are taught by renowned faculty, who are experts in their fields and active scholars who also contribute significantly to the global intellectual marketplace.

  • Colorado has the most beautiful mountains in the country as well as the largest number of sunny days per year.

  • No mosquitoes! Guaranteed!
