What’s in it for you?

Joining the RA network is a smart way to prepare for your next destination beyond CC. Future employers and graduate programs are looking for people with a strong collegiate experience – both in and outside of the classroom. Being an RA will give you a major advantage in a competitive job market. You will receive extensive training in leadership, communication, and project management. You will be entrusted with a great deal of responsibility and challenged in significant ways. Your future supervisors will be able to help you market these skills when you prepare to apply for your first professional job or graduate school.

The Application Process

In order to become and RA, you must submit an online application as well as a  current resume and answers to the questions asked in the RA Application. Please note that you will be required to provide the name and email address of your RA and one CC Faculty/Staff reference. An optional third professional reference can be listed as well. For a detailed job description, please see the RA Job Description. To apply, follow the link to complete the electronic form. Please note that you will be required to attend one of three informational sessions in order to be considered for an RA position. Those dates are listed in the job description as well.
