Suggestion/Problem/Idea:

Based on what has been heard during the Institutional Effectiveness committee’s strategic planning outreach, can we take an inventory of campus committees to include data points such as:

1)    Committee?

2)    Student/Faculty/Staff?

3)    Campus Wide Committee or other?

4)    Elected Membership?

5)    Membership Rotation?

6)    Meeting Frequency?

7)    Purpose?

8)    Decision Makers/Information Providers or other?

9)    Typical in Higher Education and/or other relevant industries?

Update/Resolution:

Last year, the FEC did an inventory of all faculty committees and we are finalizing information on committees led by staff. After the faculty approve the new faculty handbook, descriptions of each committee will be posted to this website. We are hopeful that the faculty handbook will be approved by the end of the year.
