On-Campus Resources for Managing Stress

Dear Students,

It is that time of year: the third week of Block 7. As you balance this normally busy week of the block with the extra work of thinking about summer plans, graduation, and leaving your friends, this time of year can be stressful for a CC student.

As I have mentioned before, it is important that you take care of yourselves and look out for your friends. Balancing productive study habits with rest, relaxation, eating well, and exercise is crucial to your overall health, especially if you are under stress. 

Remember that there are many people here who are valuable resources for you, including:

  • Mondays at 5:30 p.m.: Zen Buddhist Meditation in the Side Chapel
  • Mondays at 8 p.m.: GROW Student Mental Health Group
  • Tuesdays at 5:30 p.m.: Qigong in the Side Chapel
  • Wednesdays at 6 a.m.: Zen Buddhist Meditation in the Side Chapel
  • Wednesdays at 7 p.m.: Tibetan Buddhist Meditation in the Side Chapel
  • Saturdays at 6:30 a.m.: Zen Buddhist Meditation in the Side Chapel
