Meals and Housing for CC Employee Evacuees

June 24, 2012

Dear Faculty and Staff Colleagues,

This is a difficult and scary day in our community. I am so sorry to hear that some of you have been affected by the Waldo Canyon Wildfire. I hope that this precaution turns out only to be an inconvenience and nothing more serious.

To assist Colorado College faculty and staff affected by the Waldo Canyon Wildfire, the college will open available rooms. We have limited spaces (because of summer school and conferences), but if you would like to use one of the rooms, please contact Campus Safety, 389-6707. Please let us know if you will be bringing pets, so we can make proper arrangements for those living in the residence halls with allergies.

Additionally, we invite those Colorado College faculty and staff evacuees and their families to eat in Rastall by obtaining a complimentary club card from the Worner front desk, the Rastall register, or Campus Safety. The Rastall hours of operation are:

Breakfast 7 a.m.-8:30 a.m.
Lunch 11:30 a.m. -1 p.m.
Dinner 5 p.m.-6:30 p.m.

The following hotlines have been established to give more information regarding the fires.
719-402-7935
720-237-9947
720-237-3417

Please let me know what else the college can do to assist those of you in need!

Warm regards,

Jill
