Policies

Checkout Center Policies:

  • You must present your gold card for checkout. No exceptions!
  • Checkouts can be until the end of the current block.
  • Extensions may be granted but are ultimately dependent on availability. If you need to extend your checkout, please call 389-6378 or stop by the checkout window.
  • You are financially liable for damage, loss, or theft while the equipment is checked out in your name.
  • Third-Party checkouts will not be made. The person signing the checkout form is ultimately responsible.
  • Any checkouts more than 30 days late will be charged for full replacement value.

Special Events Policies:

  • All AV setup requests must be made at least 10 days prior to the event and have an appropriate KX reference number and budget code.
  • The technician rate for overtime work is currently $32/hr.
  • The need for a technician will be at the sole discretion of Media Services.
