Worner Box Stuffers

  • Correspondence being distributed to a specific campus population via Intercampus mail or into students Worner Boxes.
  • Stuffers are not limited to paper correspondence, but may include more creative types of stuffers such as those from student groups, etc.

Guidelines for Worner Box Stuffers

  • Distributions with names: must have Worner box number, must be in box order, instructions on what to do when box is closed.       
  • Distribution of stuffers should be scheduled with Mailroom staff. Stuffers are not distributed on Mondays or the day following a holiday or block break. A 24-hour minimum notice is requested. Mail and package processing always takes priority over stuffers; please provide as much advance notice as possible to ensure timely delivery of stuffers.
  • Scheduled stuffers will take priority over non-scheduled stuffers. Non-scheduled stuffers will be done in the order that they are received. Please make sure you allow adequate time for preparation and distribution.
  • The maximum size is 8 1/2 x 11. Stuffers going to student mailboxes of this size must be   tri-folded and may be on regular stock. Stuffers going to Faculty/Staff should be flat.
  • The minimum size for a stuffer is 3 ½” x 5 ½” and these must be on card stock only.
  • Stuffers for a particular class of students (i.e., “first year”) need to be specified to the Mailroom staff.
  • Stuffers must meet guidelines published in the CC Pathfinder publication regarding mention of alcohol.

Non-acceptable Worner Box Stuffers

  •  Advertisements, coupons, or other forms of solicitation materials from off campus advertisers, businesses, or organizations. Political or events promoting alcohol consumption are not permitted.
  •  Perishable items (i.e., food items)   * Mail Services Coordinator will make exceptions on food items on a case-by-case basis.
