Where Can I Go?
Students choosing an off-campus study program to pursue have many options at Colorado College, which meet a variety of academic needs. Some students choose to take advantage of more than one of these types of programs during their time at CC.
Semester and Year Programs
Colorado College offers a carefully-reviewed selection of semester and year-long programs for off-campus study, internationally and domestically. There are a variety of Colorado College semester programs, Exchange programs, ACM programs, and Approved (third-party) programs.

A note about petitioning for non-approved semester programs:
When choosing on off-campus semester program, students are strongly encouraged to select from the list of options that have been reviewed and approved by the CC International Studies Committee. These programs support the Colorado College curriculum and meet the standards of a high-quality liberal arts education.
If, for valid academic reasons, you are considering a program that is not currently on our CC list, you must petition for approval through the International Studies Committee. Please meet with Heather Browne, our Coordinator of Off-Campus Studies in Worner 232, to learn more about this process and the criteria for approval. Students who do not petition in advance for non-approved off-campus study programs will not be able to transfer credit into the college.
Academic Year Blocks Off-Campus
Students also have the option of taking part in the off-campus block courses that CC offers each academic year, internationally and in other parts of the U.S. These courses are taught by Colorado College faculty, so if you are interested in learning more about a particular block off-campus, or obtaining the Consent Of Instructor necessary to participate, please contact the professor or their department directly. Regular CC tuition rates apply, and an additional "program fee" is charged by each (this amount varies; check with the professor or department).
Summer Blocks Off-Campus
NOTE: any student wishing to do a credit-bearing summer study abroad program that is not one of the CC faculty-led programs must petition before departure for approval. See Heather Browne in Worner 232 for the petition form.
