Institutional Research

Effective August 1, 2012, the Office of Institutional Research was split into the Offices of Institutional Planning and Effectiveness and Assessment and Program Review.

Both areas continue to serve academic departments, administrative departments and committees with some level of data collection and dissemination. Questions specifically regarding preparation for internal reviews and assessment or survey administration and analysis (including but not limited to the National Survey for Student Engagement and those from the Higher Education Research Institute) should be directed to the Office of Assessment and Program Review.

Questions regarding federal and consortia compliance reports – including but not limited to those for the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES), American Association of University Professors (AAUP), and the Higher Education Data Sharing Consortium (HEDS) – the Common Data Set, and other ad-hoc data requests should be directed to the Office of Institutional Planning and Effectiveness.
