Map a Network Printer in Mac OS X

  1. Click the Apple.
  2. Click "System Preferences."
  3. Click on "Print & Scan."
  4. Click on the "+."
  5. Click on "IP."
  6. Type the address of the print server in the Address field.
    1. For lab printers, this should be "printserver.coloradocollege.edu"
  7. Type the name of the printer you want to map in the Queue field.
  8. Type the printer's name and location in the respective fields.
  9. Click "Add."
  10. Click "Duplex Printing Unit" to print double sided.
