What is the acceptance rate for Med, Vet, and Dental school at CC?
For the 2009-2010 Application year, 35 CC students applied to MD school (7 of those were to DO schools); we had a 73% acceptance rate for Med school. Two students applied to Dental school and 2 students applied Vet to school.

Can I take required courses at a community college or online?
Most Med, Dental, and Vet schools prefer the required courses to come from a 4-year institution. The student will need to check the school of interest for specifics on acceptance of two year college oronline courses.
I heard that schools do background checks as part of the admissions process. Do I need to disclose everything?
Yes. It is very important to disclose any information that may be pulled up in a background check. It is also important to check with Paul York, Student Life Specialist for Campus Conduct, regarding any infractions you may have received as a student.
