Resources

In an effort to help students tackle complex, specialized, or lengthy readings across the college currriculum, we provide workshops, tutoring, and courses on rhetoric, critical reading, and analysis. Students can get help with strategies and skills for purpose-driven reading, reading to write, and discipline-specific reading.

Tutoring

Free individual sessions devoted to topics ranging from active reading and comprehension strategies to critical reading and analysis.

Tutoring Hours:

Monday afternoons and by appointment.

Appointments are recommended. If you would like to schedule an appointment, email the Reading, Rhetoric, and First Year Programs Specialist or Sarah Milteer to arrange a meeting during regular office hours.
