The Roosevelt Institute is a nation-wide organization that advocates and promotes youth empowerment and leadership through their ideas for change. Through tools such as the Roosevelt Institute Campus Network, which the CC chapter is a part of, students from a variety of campuses work together on building and executing progressive policy changes that they have written themselves and to bring these changes to fruition through their own communities and the nation as a whole.
Through practice, hardwork and determination, the CC Roosevelt Institute strives to better the Colorado Springs community as well as create progressive and open policy makers of our future.

"I work with the Roosevelt Institute because the world's got plenty of problems that need fixing, and Roosevelt is a good way to start. It's based on the premise that people our age have some real ideas to contribute to the world of policy, and Roosevelt is about using whatever way you can think of to get those ideas dreamed up and put into use."

"I have involved with the Roosevelt Institute since my freshman year because it has given me the opportunity to work with awesome people on this campus and across the US on policy issues that are important but all too often forgotten. Roosevelt has an immense spectrum of members and as one of the largest undergraduate organizations in the country, it is an exciting group to be a part of and a powerful mouthpiece in communicating young people's ideas and concerns on the national platform."
