Community-Based Research
Community-Based Research (CBR) at Colorado College involves partnerships between students, staff, faculty, and community members who collaboratively engage in research with the purpose of ameliorating a pressing community concern (this articulation follows Strand et al, 2003).
The Collaborative for Community Engagement is proud to support existing and emerging CBR projects across a variety of academic disciplines, and is also excited to announce a strategic planning process for the development of a competitive CBR program that will support student thesis and capstone work in the local community.
