By submitting this application, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and commit to the following responsibilities.
If this proposal is approved, I understand that it is my responsibility to notify the Career Center immediately if I do not participate in the above described internship or job. I further understand that all funds are to be used according to the proposal as submitted and approved. Any changes must be submitted to the Career Center for approval.
By granting approval, the college also expects you to take this professional experience seriously. You are expected to dress appropriately, honor your work schedule, notify your employer if you are unable to work, complete work to the best of your ability, and follow through on commitments. Maintaining a professional demeanor is important. This is critical as you act as a representative of Colorado College, current, and future students while working for this organization.
Recipients are responsible for the following:
- Complete the Career Center’s Internship Risk and Release Agreement.
- A 1 page report summarizing the internship or job experience and explaining how the experience affected you personally and professionally.
- Write thank you note to your employer to ensure future CC students can benefit from the internship.
I have read, understand, and commit to following through on all requirements of awarded funding for my internship or job experience. I understand that I must complete and turn in the above materials to the Career Center no later than September 13, 2013.
Please note: The IRS requires that the college report these funds as taxable income.
