
The mission of the Office of Campus Activities at Colorado College is to serve the student body and greater College community by providing programs and experiences which promote educational, cultural, recreational, social, and personal growth. Student development is a major focus of the office, as student involvement creates a positive learning experience, which will open new horizons, ideas, and social outlets for students. By having students actively participate in all aspects of college life, hopefully they will become better citizens and future community leaders.
The office will continue to deliver comprehensive services and implements quality programs that will meet the co-curricular needs of the Colorado College’s diverse student population. In programming these activities, we are constantly striving to share the diversity that exists within our own community and world as a whole. Campus Activities will place special emphasis on supporting student leadership within the Leisure Program and the development of the student leadership opportunities to all clubs and organizations.
Recognizing the academic mission of The Colorado College, we will attempt to enhance student life by sponsoring dynamic and purposeful co-curricular activities to create a sense of community in the College setting. Through constant evaluation, research and feedback, the office can determine a proper course of action for its programs and services. The Office of Campus Activities is totally committed to student involvement as we broaden their college opportunities by providing them with transferable life skills and experiences.
