What I Do

Teaching, distributing, integrating, and supporting all areas of new media are essential in my role at Colorado College. My aim is to enhance and support the creative sides of academic technology by developing projects that use formative assessment, MOOCs, SaaSs, and online learning modules.

  • provide academic support for new media and fine art areas of study
  • work with faculty to design and integrate projects for their courses
  • review learning gaps and bridge them with technologies
  • classroom instruction and support
    • infuse new technology into courses (tablets: iPad / Nexus 7, iMovie, MOOCsSaaSs)
    • develop student/ group centered projects
    • use webbased eLearning / eAuthoring tools like Softchalk to develop learning modules
    • work with instructors on assessment and outcome for projects
  • research technologies and practices that may be useful for teaching and learning
  • collaborate with colleagues at other institutions to develop resources for use on all campuses
  • manage the Media Classrooms and the Technical Assistants for the Cornerstone Arts Center
