A normal Colorado College block is an intense 3.5 week course. A nanoblock is a 3.5 minute video that aims to teach or showcase something to a primary audience of the CC community.
For now nanoblocks are in a conceptual stage, and ATS is in the process of creating a few different examples as proofs of concept for the idea. If people enjoy the format and find it useful, who knows what innovative ways CC community members will find to make good use of it going forward!
Nanoblock 1 - Grading With Audio in iAnnotatePDF
Professor Wade Roberts has been offering feedback on student papers as audio clips that students can listen to when getting their papers back (in addition to written comments). He's also prepared a document with some instructions on how to get started if you want to try this out.
