The most exciting aspect of my job as president of Colorado College is the opportunity to engage with you, the students. Young people have been a central focus and interest of mine throughout my life. As director of the Peace Corps, governor, ambassador to India, and father of seven, I’ve been fortunate to work with stellar young people like you.

We are all fortunate to be part of the unique culture, location, and learning environment of the fine liberal arts and sciences institution. I encourage you to take full advantage of our top-notch faculty, research opportunities, community service, intramurals or varsity sports, off-campus study and language offerings. The possibilities are vast. This is an unmatched opportunity in your lives for exploration, virtually without boundaries.

I am eager to meet each of you and invite you to stop by my regular “open office hours” in Perkins Lounge in Worner Campus Center, 1:30 – 4 p.m. the first three Mondays of each block.
