Tiefenthaler joins NYC media roundtable

Ten college presidents from across the country, including Colorado College President Jill Tiefenthaler, met in New York City on Wednesday, Nov. 9, for an open forum with approximately 20 national reporters to discuss many of the pressing issues facing higher education today.

Topics were wide-ranging and Tiefenthaler answered a variety of questions, including:

  • What college presidents can do to foster new models of teaching
  • Why education should be a priority in the upcoming presidential election
  • How colleges are engaging in their communities

Media covering the event included representatives from The New York Times, Christian Science Monitor, the Los Angeles Times, Money, the Hechinger Institute, Inside Higher Ed, University Business, Kaplan, CNBC, and NBC Learn.
