Janke wins Rocky Mountain mathematics teaching award

Steven Janke, professor of mathematics and computer science at Colorado College, has been named the winner of the 2008 Burton W. Jones Award for Distinguished College or University Teaching of Mathematics by the Rocky Mountain chapter of the Mathematical Association of America. Janke will be presented with the award at the regional MAA conference banquet at Black Hills State University on April 25th, and he will be a contender for the association’s national award. Janke teaches probability, statistics and computer science courses at CC.
