Exploring the Waldo Canyon Fire Through Art
Anna Nelson, Master of Arts in Teaching candidate in K-12 Art taught her 8th graders at Eagleview Middle School how artists express emotion through color, expressive line and form. They then went to the burn site a few minutes from the school by bus to create expressive landscapes “en plein air.” Anna is working this whole year with Vanessa Scott, Art Teacher extraordinaire at Eagleview MS.
