Philosophy class visits the Sand Dunes
Dennis McEnnerney recently brought his “Freedom & Authority” First-Year Experience class to Colorado College’s Baca campus (in Crestone, Colorado), for a week-long field trip. While at Baca, the class pondered the question of whether modern Americans are capable of embracing demanding moral or religious beliefs. They also climbed the Great Sand Dunes, and debated the merits of Sartre’s existentialism.
