Concert: The Moran Woodwind QuintetThe Moran Woodwind Quintet is one of the most active and visible quintets in the Midwest. Jeffrey McCray, bassoon; Diane Barger, clarinet; John Bailey, flute; Alan Mattingly, horn and William McMullen, oboe, are on the the faculty of the University of Nebraska School of Music. They have performed extensively throughout the U.S. and have performed at the International Double Reed Society and the International Horn Society. The Quintet has recorded three CDs for Crystal Records. A master class will be presented earlier in the day at 3:30 p.m. in Packard Hall. Sponsored by the Colorado College music department.
