Performance: Pikes Peak Library District World Music Series: La Fanfare du BelgistanHailing from the fictional Belgistan region of Eastern Belgium, La Fanfare du Belgistan creates tantalizing music using a variety of classic and exotic instruments, from trumpets to karbakas. Inspired by Arab and Gypsy music, La Fanfare updates diverse traditional forms by incoporating elements of trance, dance, and jazz music. Sponsored by the CC Summer Festival of the Arts, the World Music Series of Pikes Peak Library District, and KRCC Concerts. Location: Armstrong Quad
