Gary’s team in Facilities Services will perform this work for us; in addition, they also labeled all of the rooms in which networking or telephone hardware reside, and then coordinated for us the keys that open each of the doors of these 130+ closets.
Chad Schonewill, Help Desk Manager
For the last seven and a half years, Chad has been helping CC troubleshoot problems around technology and to connect all types of computers to the network. During the network upgrade, Chad will be instrumental in communicating to the campus, because the hub of such information and assistance runs through the Help Desk. A CC graduate, Chad ably and passionately participates by representing the "user" perspective to the project team.
Randy Stiles, Vice President for Information Management
Randy has been at Colorado College since 1999. Randy’s role in the network upgrade project is to oversee the project at a bird’s eye view; he will be managing the high-level financial aspect of the project and advising at the Senior Staff level on the progress of this implementation.
Tom Walters, Web Systems Administrator and Applications Programmer
One of only two Network & Systems Team members with a computer degree, Tom plans to assist in any way he can during this implementation. He will be maintaining the official website detailing the network upgrade process as well as keeping oversight on the current hardware and software for the College website.
Andrew Watson, Senior Systems Administrator and Security Officer
Ten years of experience at CC has brought Andrew into a central role during this network project upgrade. Currently, Andrew is responsible for bringing the server fleet, storage networks, and network access control solution into the new network. In addition, Andrew is overseeing the security aspects of the new network.
David Ziemba, Network Engineer & Lab
Systems

the College when it comes to technology for the last six and
a half years. He will be working closely with the Foundry
team, shadowing the implementation and focusing on training
for the more complicated aspects of the network, along with
Alan Davis.
Darryl Zimmer, Data and Telecommunications
Technician
A fixture at CC for 20 years, Darryl is the go-to-guy
when it comes to the telecommunications closets. Working
for Telecommunications, Darryl spends some of his time working
with the Network & Systems Team walking closets and troubleshooting
network issues. His knowledge of the telecommunications
closets has been instrumental in the Network Upgrade Project
and he will continue to be the point person when closet access
is required. He is also working with Dave Armstrong
on the remodeling projects within those closets.
