Subject: Network Printers will be up by mid-day 3/20
Dear Palmer, Olin and Education contacts,
(If you are in Barnes, please ignore this email -- apologies
for the spam, but the list of building contacts is for both
Barnes and Olin with no way to separate the two):
As you all know, we had some challenging moments with the
network upgrade process in your buildings today. But I am
happy to report that we have made significant progress,
and we sincerely thank you for your support and patience
during this massive undertaking!
You should all be able to successfully register on the
new network now. If you do experience any issues though,
please contact the Help Desk at 389-6449.
One outstanding item relates to the state of the networked
printers in your departments. Those printers need to be
manually registered to function properly, and the Help Desk
and Network Systems teams are working diligently to get
those printers up and running as soon as possible.
Networked printers should be functional by mid-day tomorrow
(Tues). If you have any questions or concerns, again please
do not hesitate to contact the Help Desk.
Also, don’t hesitate to contact me or your divisional
specialist if you have any questions or concerns related
to the network upgrade process in general.
