Subject: The Network upgrade begins!

To Colorado College Students

Great news! We're beginning in earnest the project of upgrading our network at Colorado College. Among other things, this will mean a vast improvement of services for those of you using computers in the dorms once the project is complete (by Fall 2007).

As part of the process, we wanted to let you know that new equipment is being installed today in the following locations:

Bemis
Blanca
El Diente
John Lord Knight
McGregor

There will be no interruption of service at this time, but you will likely see a number of people around carrying network electronics in these areas.
