To the Campus Community,
Thank you for your understanding and patience as the network upgrade project continues!
We want to let you know that we are aware of the issues many people are experiencing with slowness on the internet and some internet-based programs. We're going to be doing the next phase of the network upgrade over block break, and we're hopeful that this next step will help with performance issues
Reminder: there will be a network and systems outage on Thursday, April 19th from 12:30 - 6:30 so we can perform the next step in the network upgrade process.
You can check the progress of the network upgrade at any time by looking at our "current status" webpage here: http://www.coloradocollege.edu/networkupgrade/theplan.html
Once the wired network upgrade is 100% complete (late May), we'll have a better idea about how the upgrade has changed our performance than we do right now when the project isn't yet finished.
