Fitness
The Colorado College tradition maintains that a student body which is physically fit and healthy can most effectively benefit the academic capabilities of the community at large. At the very heart of CC life is the well-being of its students, and with this in mind, students are offered access to a variety of opportunities to explore their own physical abilities, through both traditional and non-traditional methods.
Classes
Colorado College offers a number of fitness classes for those seeking a more routine-based regime. These include instruction in yoga, dance, and the martial arts. While these courses represent only a fraction of the fitness opportunities available at CC, students often use them to explore new and healthy ways to utilize their free time.
Facilities
Of any liberal arts college in the region, CC offers some of the most-wide ranging facilities for physical activity. From the Carle Weight Room in El Pomar Sports Center to the "Tiger Pit" cardio room within the walls of Worner Campus Center, CC students can choose from a multitude of exercise facilities on and off-campus. Location
The most unique opportunity for fitness at Colorado College is, of course, the athletic canvas of the great outdoors. With a stunning location in easy reach of world-class skiing, hiking, climbing, running, biking, and more, CC students have innumberable options through which to become or remain active in nature.
