El Pomar Sports Complex
In May 2011, the Board of Trustees approved the renovation of El Pomar Sports Complex and new construction to include additional offices, classroom space, and a separate fitness center. The initial “Gateway” phase, an addition of 11,000 square feet including office and team meeting space to the south of the existing El Pomar facility, is now under construction. The college is continuing fundraising for the successive phases, including a 29,000-square-foot Fitness Center addition on the building’s north side and renovation of the existing facility. Construction of these phases will begin in 2012 and is expected to be completed in spring 2013.
