Small Houses
A brand of nostalgic charm makes these mansion-turned-residence halls among the most popular on-campus lodgings for upperclassmen. Many of CC's small houses are on the National Register of Historic Buildings, and each is distinct in its contribution to campus life and culture.
The Basics
Due to their historic beauty and personal flair, small houses at CC are among the most popular sophomore and junior living spaces. Each house offers its residents a community with a classic look and individual character. The all-female Montgomery Hall, for example, contrasts its coeducational counterparts. The newly renovated McGregor hall offers unsurpassed views of the mountains, and Arthur House provides a 24-hour quiet/substance-free living space.
Each small house is fully furnished and has a kitchen, study spaces, and a central living room for gathering or watching TV. Many of the houses are also equipped with pianos and game tables, and all bring a sense of cozy timelessness to Colorado College.
