Bemis Hall, one of the loveliest dormitories on campus was built in 1908 for about $100,000.
This Tudor Revival building was named for Judson M. Bemis, a major donor to the college. The residence was designed so that the public rooms are on the north side, and the student's rooms have a western or southern view of the mountains. The building has its own dining room which seats 250 and the Cogswell Theater.
